Cambridge Consultants has been actively involved in Bluetooth® technology since the late 90’s. We have developed a fully portable upper stack for Bluetooth (BlueStack®) and a comprehensive profile library (Interface Express™).
Our spin-out Cambridge Silicon Radio (CSR) is the market leader in Bluetooth technology and we have retained the unique capability to develop native software for their BlueCore family of chips. For our customers we use this capability to develop Create differentiated Bluetooth products at commodity prices. We are able to extend this capability to third parties who license our development toolkit xIDE for Interface Express.
The BluCore silicon family includes a series of peripherals that make it a compelling solution for a wide range of application areas. For example the on-chip DSP has been used for algorithms in Audio, and Medical applications increasing the value of this embedded platform.
