Dr. Brian Moon

CEO

Brian Moon was appointed CEO of Cambridge Consultants in July 2001. Before taking up the post of CEO, Dr Moon, was responsible for our healthcare division, an area of the business that Brian first led the firm into just ten years ago. Today, work in the healthcare and biotech sector, is mainly conducted in Europe and the USA, and accounts for a third of Cambridge Consultants' business.

Dr Moon studied Biophysics at London University, graduating in 1973. In 1974 he was awarded a MSc in Nuclear and Elementary Particle Physics for a dissertation on pion-nucleon scattering.

He was awarded a PhD in 1978 for his research into the flow-optical properties of colloids such as virus and polymer dispersions. Much of this work was directed to particle sizing and diagnostics in medicine and engineering.

Joining us in 1982 as an engineer in Optical Science, Dr Moon has subsequently held a range of posts including that of Marketing Director.
