Cambridge Consultants has world class expertise in developing low cost, low power, internet enabled products.

For example, we didn't invent the idea of an internet radio, but we did develop a platform that dramatically lowers the product cost, allowing internet radios to be mainstream, easy to use consumer products rather than expensive "techy" network devices.

The Iona low-power Wi-Fi radio, first shown at CES in January 2007, was developed and launched as CSR's RadioPro platform. With a manufacturable eBOM of just $15 it is the lowest cost Wi-Fi radio available and opens a door to a wealth of new web-enabled applications previously restricted by cost. The low-power design of the platform boasts up to 25 hours of active streaming time running on a 1500mAh battery, enabling truly portable internet enabled products.
