UMI Specifications Terms and Conditions

You may use the UMI Specifications if you accept the following terms and conditions. If you do not accept them, you must delete or destroy the documents immediately and make no further use of them.

Purpose: You shall only use the specifications to evaluate UMI. 

Licence: If you wish to manufacture or sell a product containing UMI or use the UMI trademarks, your organisation must first sign the UMI Licence Agreement (UMI-LIC-001) with Cambridge Consultants Ltd. This licence is free of charge. Please email UMI@CambridgeConsultants.com to obtain a copy of the Agreement.

Terms of use: The specifications shall only be used within your organisation. You must not distribute the specifications, in whole or in part, to anyone outside your organisation. You are authorised to open, view and print any electronic copy we send you of the specifications within your organisation. Printouts of the specifications must be kept within your organisation. 

Copyright: The specifications are (c) Copyright Cambridge Consultants Ltd 2009-2011. 

Ownership: UMI and all associated intellectual property registered or otherwise, documents, source code, software tools, hardware tools and other technologies are proprietary to and owned by Cambridge Consultants Ltd and are protected by copyright law and international copyright treaties, patent applications, letters patent and other intellectual property laws and treaties. You must not use the information within this specification or other items supplied to you for the purposes of designing, developing or testing a competing technology to UMI.

Fit for purpose: UMI must not be used for safety critical and/or life support applications without a specific written agreement from Cambridge Consultants Ltd.
