Health

  • Blue Cross & Blue Shield Medical Insurance – Full time employees, his/her spouse or domestic partner and any dependents receive medical coverage effective on date of hire.  Cambridge Consultants offers three comprehensive programs, and covers up to 75% of the cost.

  • Dental Insurance – Full time employees, his/her spouse and any dependents receive dental coverage effective on the date of hire.  Cambridge Consultants covers 75% of the cost.

  • Flexible Spending Accounts – This allows employees to set aside up to the IRS maximum of pre-tax dollars to pay for qualified medical (and dental) expenses and qualified dependent care expenses.

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) – Cambridge Consultants also covers the cost of Mutual of Omaha’s Employee Assistance Program.  EAP has trained professionals to work with you as you search for solutions to personal and workplace issues.  The program is voluntary and confidential.  EAP staff are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year.

Leave

  • Paid Time Off (PTO) – Full time employees initially accrue 18 days per year of paid time off.  After 6 years of service, employees accrue up to 22 days of PTO.  Employees also receive 7 scheduled holidays per year, and 3 days of bereavement leave.

  • Sick Time –8 paid days per year, accrued monthly.  You may also be covered under Massachusetts Maternity Leave or our Paternity Leave Policy, as well as FMLA.

  • Short-Term Disability (STD) – The plan covers employees from the 8th day of approved absence due to illness, injury or childbirth.  At the end of the 12 week period, if eligible, your Long Term Disability benefits will commence so there will be no break in disability benefits.  STD benefits are 100% employer paid, although benefits received are taxed as ordinary income.

  • Long-Term Disability (LTD) – The plan covers employees from the 90th day of approved absence due to illness or injury.  LTD benefits are company paid, although you will pay taxes on the cost of your LTD plan (unrealized income).  The cost of your coverage is based on your salary (Example:  If your monthly regular pay is $6,250.00, the taxable amount added to your pay would be $19.38).  By doing this, all LTD benefits received will be tax-free.

Compensation

  • Profit Sharing – Employees will receive annual review of their performance and salary as well as be eligible for a discretionary bonus that is based on company profit and employee performance.

  • Retirement Benefit – 401(k) plans allow employees to contribute their earnings to the IRS maximum.  Cambridge Consultants may make a discretionary 401(k) match contribution equal to 50% of deferrals, up to a deferral of 6% of salary (the 401(k) match cannot exceed 3% of the salary).  Match contributions are vested over a 3 year schedule.
     
  • Group Life and AD&D Insurance – We also provides you Basic Life and AD&D Insurance.  The beneficiary will receive “one times” your salary to a maximum of $50,000.00.  This benefit is 100% employer paid.

  • Voluntary Life Insurance (if elected by you) – Eligibility to apply for additional life insurance, up to five times your regular pay up to a max of $500,000.00.  This optional benefit is also available for your spouse and dependant children.  The premiums will be automatically deducted from your paycheck.

Additional benefits

  • Qualified Transportation Plan (QTE) – This allows employees to set aside up to the IRS maximum of pre-tax dollars to pay for qualified parking expenses and qualified transportation expenses.
     
  • Fitness Center – There is a fitness center conveniently located on the ground floor of our office building.

  • Complimentary MBTA Pass – Cambridge Consultants will cover the cost of your Monthly LinkPass (unlimited subway and bus).  If you use a Monthly Commuter Rail Pass, Cambridge Consultants will subsidize the cost. 

  • Corporate Zip Car Plan – Cambridge Consultants has a corporate membership to Zip Car.  Employees may sign up under our corporate account.  Cambridge Consultants will reimburse the employee for the individual annual fee.

  • Relocation Assistance – Reimbursement of many relocation expenses in accordance with IRS guidelines (http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p521.pdf).
